Time for another Rose! This one has light sweet scents of strawberries and raspberries (again... do all roses seriously smell like this!?). I'm not necessarily complaining, but I can think of other flavours to describe the scents. Nice floral hints as well.
This one i found to be a bit more on the acidic side at first when I gave it a try. However, there’s a decent blend of typical yet fresh rose flavours afterwards. Light sweetness of apple, watermelon, raspberries, and strawberries can be made. There are some other very light citrusy notes that can be made too. Grapefruit, lime, and orange can be made at the tail end that gives a bit of a nice bite bite. The body of this rose is definitely on the lighter and sweeter side compared to most other roses's I've had. There's still a very decent and fresh feel, however the sweetness will still linger on for a bit, but not necessarily the flavours themselves. There's not too distinct of an aftertaste to this one. Easy and fresh finish with floral and some sweet notes notes, but there’s not too many flavours that cling onto your mouth when you finish. There's a bit of a dry finish as well, but not overwhelmingly dry.
I didn't mind this one. There are a lot of nice and decent fruity flavours to this one, and they feel distinct versus watered down. My only complaint is that this one is perhaps on the more sugary or sweet side that some roses have an unfortunate reputation for. I personally don’t mind it, but it's definitely on the sweeter side for my tastes and I could see why others may find the sweetness a bit overwhelming. If you don't like sweet roses, or sweet wines for that matter, you may want to pass. On the flip side, you may definitely like this if you enjoy a sweeter wine.
Pairing: This one would go good with some lean fish, salads, cheeses, pastas, and some light appetizers. I was in the craving for some good old KD, so I had it with this (still counts since it's still pasta and cheese). Zero complaints.
