Time for another wine from the first winery I visited in France! The scents to this wine were quite lemony, earthy, and floral with hints of butter. There were very nice fresh scents to this one, kinda like sniffing a fresh fruit tree in the nice summer breeze. The flavours to this wine were littered with fresh fruits galore. Dominantly freshness of pear, but nice tastes of apple and hints of honey due and cantaloupe. A very light citrusy taste of orange can be made that gives a nice little tang. The body to this one is quite light and smooth. There’s a nice silky smoothness in this with all the fresh flavours that make it easy to pound back. While the flavours are not that powerful or strong, especially compared to other whites I’ve had, this is still fairly smooth and easy to pound back, espeically on a hot summer day. The finish to this one is also quite light and fresh. You can feel a nice tingle of floral notes on your tongue and within your mouth. The flavours don’t tingle too strongly, but I can’t necessarily say that’s a bad thing. There is zero bitter aftertaste in this one.

I would personally consider this one another decent "middle of the pack" wine from the Languedoc. While there are some nice flavours and notes to be had, they don't feel as strong as other white wines as one may expect to find. On the other hand, this wine is quite easy and light to sip back, and there are some good notes that can be made as you pound those few glasses back. What, pray tell, is wrong with that? If that's your style, then I'd say giver a try!

Pairings: This one would go great with some seafood and light appetizers such as a nice garden salad or charcuterie board.

Overall Rating: 3 Languedoc Crosses out of 5
